To maintain an information security program that allows Hengtian to meet customer, partners, employees and regulators expectations for privacy and confidentiality, Hengtian has set up the Corporate Information Security (CIS) Committee and has assigned Information Security Officer to establish and deploy information security management system. Our approach is to adopt and enforce the appropriate industry best-practice policies, solutions and controls required to protect corporate assets and attract new business while retaining existing customers.

Hengtian MySQL Group, founded in 2002, has been steadily growing over the past years, and the team size has increased to over 160 members. MySQL Group satisfies all kinds of related needs and serves clients around the world as remote DBA, architecture and design advisors, on-call support team and expert system admin. With the support of State Street and Zhejiang University, Hengtian has successfully completed many financial projects and accumulated considerable experience.

Hengtian aims to provide the software products to customers with high quality. A separated software quality assurance department is established in Hengtian to ensure that SQA plan and software processes have been effectively established and executed in applicable project to ensure the highest quality of the delivered software product to the customers. The SQA activities mainly include: test-oriented quality assurance, process-oriented quality assurance and metric-oriented quality assurance.
Software Quality Assurance
Reengineering, also known as renovation or reclamation, is the examination and alteration of a subject system to reconstitute it in a new form and to subsequently implement it. Reengineering generally includes some form of reverse engineering followed forward engineering or restructuring. This may include modification with respect to new requirements not met by the original system. The following graph depicts the general model of reengineering.
Re-engineering Expertise Overview
In order to improve the effective and standard project process and to improve the quality of product and service, Hengtian set up the Program Management Office to offer support to the project managers in all project management areas. PMO develops high level supporting infrastructure in partnership with the front-line branches and to improve operations through better engagement model, process governance, status report and resource allocation& coordination.

Hengtian Linux Group, founded in 2007, has been steadily growing over the past years, and the team size has increased to over 150 members, 8% of which are familiar with Linux Kernel and 49% of which are familiar with Linux software development.
