Hengtian signed a new contract with Bank of Beijing Hangzhou Branch in February of 2012. Prior to this agreement, Hengtian had provided certain database and system training related services to the bank. The signing of this contract marks the beginning of deep and long-term cooperation between Hengtian and the Bank of Beijing. It also means Hengtian is advancing further in the financial IT services market. As a leading professional technology service provider with a primary focus on financial institutions, Hengtian will continue to provide professional services, including software development and testing, training, consulting and maintenance services, offering great value to its clients.
Bank of Beijing was established in January 1996, and has set up regional operations in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Xi’an, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Changsha, Nanjing, Jinan and Nanchang. The bank also established the Yanqing Village Bank, set up representative offices in Hong Kong and Amsterdam, and initiated Bank of Beijing Consumer Finance Company – the first consumer finance operation in China. Bank of Beijing has also established insurance joint venture BoB-ING Life Insurance, becoming the first small/medium-sized bank operating in that field.
