On October 8, State Street’s President and COO, Ronald O’Hanley, CEO in Asia Pacific, Huaiguang Shi, Executive Vice President and CTO, Jerry Cristoforo, and Senior Vice President, Babloo Sarin, as well as Fidelity International ‘s Technology Director in Europe, Stuart Warner, and Technology Director in Asia Pacific, Richard Paddock, came to Hangzhou to meet with Xiaohu Yang, Deputy Director of Institute of Software Engineering, Zhejiang University and Bo Zhou, CEO of Hengtian. They had talks on topics of common interest, including the latest research and application of blockchain and financial technology innovation.
During the meeting, Xiaohu Yang, Deputy Director of Institute of Software Engineering, Zhejiang University, shared the history and model of State Street and Zhejiang University’s industry-university-research cooperation since they established the joint Technology Center in 2001. Then Bo Zhou, CEO of Hengtian, introduced Insigma and Hengtian’s milestones, lines of business and unique cooperation model with Zhejiang University, and also highlighted Hengtian’s achievements in financial market, AI and blockchain.

The guests fully recognized the unique industry-university-research cooperation model of Hengtian and Zhejiang University. They paid great attention to the blockchain technology research, accumulation and application of Zhejiang University and Hengtian, showed deep interest in Capirobo—a product providing in-depth financial data with AI technology, and spoke highly of Hengtian’s services and innovative capability.
